Elon Musk’s Mother Maye Musk Launches Hindi Version of Her Memoir in Mumbai

Maye Musk, mother of Elon Musk, unveiled the Hindi edition of her memoir, A Woman Makes a Plan, in Mumbai. The new version, titled Jab Aurat Sochti Hai, was launched with the help of Rajkamal Prakashan at a special event in the city.
The event, which took place on Maye’s 77th birthday, was a meaningful occasion for her as she celebrated alongside Indian publishers and friends.
“I’m so glad to have my Indian publishers with me for the launch of my Hindi book in Mumbai. And it happened to be on my birthday,” she shared on X.

Maye posted several pictures from the event, including a photo with her Indian publishers holding the Hindi edition of her book. The final image showed Maye happily standing next to a birthday cake decorated with flowers and the number “77” on top.
Earlier, Maye had also shared a photo of a beautiful bouquet of flowers sent by her son, Elon. “Thanks, Elon, for the lovely birthday flowers sent to me in Mumbai. Love, m,” she posted on X (formerly Twitter).
During her trip to Mumbai, Maye also had a spiritual experience. On Easter Sunday, she visited the famous Siddhivinayak Temple with Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. They took part in temple rituals and received blessings from the priests. Maye wore a bright yellow printed suit for the occasion.
Maye’s memoir, first published in English in 2019, tells the story of her life, from facing professional and personal struggles to achieving success as a model and nutritionist. She talks about raising her children as a single mother and building her career against the odds. The book offers lessons on resilience, health, and following your dreams, no matter your age or circumstances. The Hindi edition is aimed at connecting with a larger audience in India.
Jacqueline Fernandez, who attended the event, praised Maye’s book, saying, “It’s a true symbol of a woman’s strength. It has taught me that age doesn’t limit your dreams and goals.”
Elon Musk also announced that he will visit India later this year ahead of Tesla’s expected launch in the country.
